If you avoid routine dental cleanings and checkups due to anxiety, you could be at risk for complications, like gum disease and tooth loss. Sedation dentistry is here to help.
We are open and delighted to see YOU!
You will see some changes when it is time to come in for your next appointment. We will be reaching out to you before your visit via email to have you update your health history and complete some screening questions related to the Covid-19 virus. Patients who have any signs of a cough or fever or who describe having any concerning warning signs will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
We have changed a few things in the office as well. We now have a “virtual” reception area. Upon arrival to our office, please call us from your car to let us know you’ve arrived. We will call or text you to let you know when your treatment room is ready! VIP service and no waiting in the reception area! We ask that you do not bring an extra friend or family member to your appointment in order to comply with social distancing.
When you come into the office, we will ask you to use hand sanitizer, and provide a mask if you don’t have one. You must wear a mask in our office except while receiving dental care. We will review your responses to our health history update, and Covid-19 screening questionaire. We will take your temperature, and then take you to your treatment room.
Although we have always maintained the highest levels of infection control recommended by the American Dental Association, the CDC and OSHA, we have added a few things for your protection. You’ll notice that we’ve added a barrier to our front office area. This keeps our front team safe, and in turn, you and your family. If we’re safe, you’re safe!
We are implementing UV-C light sterilization and Cold Fogging our treatment rooms with Hypochlorous Acid overnight. We’ve added True-Hepa Filtration systems to every room to continuously filter the air for bacteria and viruses. Prior to any procedure, each patient will rinse with a Hydrogen peroxide rinse. We will continue to use High Volume Intraoral suction units to reduce the amount of aerosol created during your appointment.
Our team will look a little different too. You’ll see us in advanced Personal Protection equipment or PPE. But under all our gowns, masks, shields and glasses we’re still your favorite team, and we can’t wait to see you. As always, we are looking out for you, and your total health!
